I’m Laura.  I am the owner and director of Country Montessori and have been since April 2020 when my husband and I convinced the previous owner to sell it to us.

I was born and raised in Douglas, Massachusetts. I graduated from Douglas Public Schools before moving on to study Early Education at Worcester State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree (Early Education and English) and MA teaching license. After working in seven different public school districts with a variety of grade levels and developmental levels, I realized that Public School was not for me.

My nephew attended a Montessori school and his knowledge and development amazed me. I wanted to learn more about the Montessori methods of teaching. After doing some self-directed research on Montessori, and finding out that I already taught using this approach, I decided to shift my career. With my husband’s support, we purchased Country Montessori. 

I have an M.Ed Education with a concentration in Montessori from Gordon College.

My husband and I continue to reside in Douglas, MA with our two teenage daughters, Riana and Sofia. During my time off, I enjoy spending it with family, going to the beach, traveling and learning. My life-long goal is to make each day better than the last by educating myself and learning from my mistakes.

Hello! I’m Ms. Bella.

Since 2020, I’ve been dedicated to teaching and began my Montessori journey at Country Montessori as both a teacher and assistant director. I am currently pursuing my Montessori certification.

I previously completed training with the Montessori Institute of Prague and plan to enroll in certification courses to further my professional development. I believe that building strong relationships with each child is essential for their growth, and it’s my pleasure as a guide to support your child’s development.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time at the beach, and being outdoors.

Hello, my name is Ms. Donna, and I am pleased to join the teaching staff at Country Montessori. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Anna Maria College. My professional journey began with a preschool teaching position in Worcester, followed by a third-grade role in Shrewsbury. 

After relocating to Virginia where I raised three children, two of whom attended Country Montessori, I returned to Massachusetts. For 19 years, I served as a one-to-one educator in the Integrated Preschool program within Northbridge Public Schools. 

I am deeply committed to lifelong learning, and I am delighted to contribute to the Country Montessori community. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandson and family, exercising, reading, and visiting Disney destinations.

I joined Country Montessori in September 2025 as a toddler teacher. Prior to this role, I worked with infants and toddlers in a licensed early childhood program.

I was born and raised in Chennai, India, where my passion towards teaching first began. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and later completed my B.Ed in Teacher training from accredited Indian Universities. 

I am also a Montessori-certified educator through the Worldwide Training Centre in Chennai. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining my EEC certification.

I began my career as an intern and teaching aide at AHI Academy, India. After getting married and relocating to the U.S., I took a break from my career to raise my two wonderful boys, now ages 7 and 4. 

Returning to the classroom has been incredibly meaningful. I am excited to bring my skills, compassion and cultural experience into the Montessori environment.

I am fluent in several regional Indian languages and have growing proficiency in Arabic. I consider myself an ardent learner – always exploring, reflecting, and striving to grow as an educator so I can better guide and nurture young minds.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, reading, sewing, hiking, playing badminton, and spending time with my family.

I was born and raised in the Republic of Georgia, where my early years were shaped by a strong sense of family, culture, and community. From a young age, I felt drawn to learning and to working with people, which led me to pursue an education degree in my home country. My studies gave me a deep appreciation for teaching, responsibility, and the importance of nurturing others with patience and care.

After marrying my husband I moved to the United States in 2004. Family is at the center of everything I do. I am a proud mother of three children, and raising them has been my greatest joy and responsibility.

Adjusting to a new country came with challenges, but it also strengthened my resilience and determination. I continued building my professional life by earning my EEC certification and expanding my experience in caregiving and education.

I have worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role that allowed me to support individuals with compassion, dignity, and respect. This work reinforced my belief in service and the value of being present for others during important moments in their lives.

I am deeply involved in my church community, which has been a source of strength, guidance, and connection. Through church involvement, I actively participate in serving others, supporting families, and contributing to a community built on faith and mutual care.

Currently, working as a Montessori teacher, a role that beautifully aligns with my passion for education and child development. In the Montessori classroom, I value independence, respect, and hands-on learning, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where each child feels supported, capable, and confident in their growth.
