Do your elementary school students have homework?

Typically, no. A majority of their learning is done at school. However, there are projects, on occasion, that require an at-home component.
How does arrival and dismissal work?

Students arrive at 8:30 and are dismissed at 2:30 each day. Parents need to park their vehicle and walk to the classroom door.
Do elementary students take standardized tests?

Students in the elementary program do not take standardized tests. Students are assessed through project-based learning, observations, work samples and curriculum designed learning tools such as Lexia Core 5 to demonstrate mastery of skills.

Does your school offer before and after care for elementary students?

Yes. Before care is from 7:00-8:30 and after care is from 2:30-5:00 for an additional cost of $150 per month.

What does my child need to bring to school?

Who provides snacks and lunch?

Each family is required to provide a NUT FREE snack and lunch for their child. If your child attends our half day program, your child only needs one snack and a water bottle. If your child attends our full day program, he will need two snacks, a lunch, and a water bottle.
How does your school communicate with families?

Communication is done mostly through an app called Brightwheel. Student photos, event information, reminders, school closings, and other general information is communicated through Brightwheel. In addition to Brightwheel, email, phone calls and a daily communication folder are other forms of communication used to keep families informed.
How is tuition paid?

Tuition invoices are sent out through the Brightwheel app every month. Monthly payments are due on the first of each month, September through June. Summer program is separate and done on a weekly as needed basis.
